New Google Form for Record Claims Submission

Dear all, 

With immediate effect please input your record claims to the following Google Form:

We allow record claims for mixed gender relays held after 1 January 2023. For such claims please send your information and supporting documents/website to hkmastersrecords@gmail.com instead of filling this Google Form.

Please read the updated criteria before submission of your claims. 

From 1 July 2023 onwards: 

1) Only the following meets will be automatically considered without requirement of submission of your records claims: 

- Hong Kong Masters Athletics Championships

- Asia Masters Athletics Championships

-World Masters Athletics Championships (Indoor and Outdoor)

Any new records claims in other meets please use the above Google Form.

HK Masters Athletics Records - Information & records claims criteria (Updated 27 June 2023)

HK Masters Athletics Records
This is unofficial record of the best performances by Hong Kong masters athletes over 35 years old. Such records are not supposed to be endorsed by HKAAA. 
Eligibility: 
1) Only those road races/track & field c/ships with clearly defined 5-year-old age groups (i.e., 35-39, 40-45.......till 100+) in line with AMA/WMA will be accepted. For example, if you attend a race (say a 10,000mW) with only broad masters age groups (e.g. 35-49 as one single age category), your results will not be counted even though you have outperformed the existing masters records at your age group.
2) The results of the following meets will be automatically taken into consideration when compiling the records: 
- Hong Kong Masters Athletics Championships (http://hkmac.org/
- Asia Masters Athletics Championships; 
- World Masters Athletics Championships (Indoor and Outdoor). 
For other meets/races (including Taiwan Masters Athletics Championships with effect from 1 July 2023), you have to take the initiative to submit your performances. (Please see the procedures in (4) below
3) All road races must be certified by AIMS/IAAF (Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze label) or as part of local/regional/world masters championships. All entries of road races are based on gun time. (For claims submitted after 1 July 2019, irrespective the date of the race)
4) For individual results claims, please complete Google Form below and note the following requirements: 
a) The results must be directly traceable to the organizer's official records (or other authentic sources such as AMA/WMA), and preferably available in the public domain - at least at the time when the claims are submitted; 
b) For 4x100m and 4x400m relays, the names of individual legs will only be included in the records if their names (not bib number) are disclosed in the results website or the certificate. (Added 8 Jan 2021). Please list the names of all 4 legs (as shown on their respective HKID cards) in the "Full Name of Athlete Field". 
c) We allow records claim for mixed gender relays held after 1 January 2023, please send your records claims and supporting information directly to hkmastersrecords@gmail.com instead of filling this Google Form. 
d) The results of overseas races must show the nationality of the athlete (either Hong Kong/Hong Kong, China/Hong Kong Masters/Hong Kong, China Masters).
e) For local races which does not show the nationality of the athlete, we may contact you directly to provide a copy of your HKID card as evidence. Please do not submit any documents through Google Form. Your personal information collected will be destroyed after verification of your identity and age group. 
f) For Track/Road events please input your time in "h:mm:ss.00" format. 
g) For outdoor track events less than 400m, long jump and triple jump, please provide your windspeed. Otherwise your results may not be recognised as formal masters records. 
5) The records are updated half yearly and any record claims/enquiries will be handled around the end of June/December. 
6) The admin's decision on the results claim is final and conclusive.
